At its heart, this isn't a story about magic or superpowers; it is a story about the five stages of grief. Wanda creates this perfect suburban life because she cannot accept the reality of Vision’s death. The reveal of "Previously On" (Episode 8) where we see Wanda’s apartment in Sokovia and the moment she created the Hex is widely considered one of the best character moments in the entire Marvel franchise.
Kathryn Hahn as "Agnes" (Agatha Harkness) was perfect casting. The shift from a nosy neighbor to a powerful witch gave us the iconic song "Agatha All Along" and provided a fun foil for Wanda’s raw power.
If we are being honest, the story stumbles a bit in the finale. It falls into the classic MCU trap of "Big CGI Battle in the Sky." Many fans felt the introduction of "White Vision" was rushed and that the "Sword" plotline with Hayward was a bit generic compared to the deep character work happening inside the Hex.
