Dec. 18, 2016. All 273 Dialogues below are error‐free. NOTE: The number following each title below (which is the same number that follows the corresponding dialogue) is the Flesch‐Kincaid Grade Level. See Flesch‐Kincaid or FREE Readability Formulas, or Readability‐Grader, or Readability‐Score. However, the grade levels are true in the sense that they are truly relative to one another.

Uncharted 1 2 3 The Nathan Drake Collection [ Extended ]

The story is tight. A simple hunt for El Dorado turns into a creepy, supernatural thriller on a tropical island. The chemistry between Nate and Elena is established instantly. At 60FPS, the jungle gunfights are actually playable.

Everything is improved. Stealth mechanics are introduced. Pacing is flawless—moving from a dangling train car, to a war-torn Nepalese city, to the frozen mountains of Shambhala. The set-pieces (the building collapse, the train level, the tank chase) are still breathtaking a decade later.

The remaster elevates Among Thieves from "great" to "essential." The 60FPS makes the platforming precise, and the improved textures make the Himalayan vistas look next-gen. If you only play one game in this collection, play this one. Drake’s Deception has the highest highs and the lowest lows of the trilogy. The collection smoothes out the rough edges. uncharted 1 2 3 the nathan drake collection

Bluepoint Games didn’t just crank up the resolution. They re-rendered cutscenes in higher fidelity, improved texture filtering, added better anti-aliasing, and upscaled shadow maps. Character models, particularly Drake’s facial animations, look significantly sharper. While these are not full remakes (the geometry and core assets remain from the PS3 era), the visual uplift is substantial enough to feel like a current-gen experience.

The set-pieces are legendary. The cargo plane sequence (free-falling from 30,000 feet) and the cruise ship sinking are technical marvels. The melee combat system is more robust, and the desert survival chapter is hauntingly beautiful. The story is tight

As of 2024-2025, The Nathan Drake Collection is available on PC via the PlayStation Plus Premium streaming service. However, note that it is a streamed version (not a native port), so performance depends on your internet connection. A native PC port does not exist yet. Where Does It Rank Among Remasters? In the industry of lazy remasters (looking at you, Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy ), Uncharted 1 2 3 The Nathan Drake Collection is a beacon of quality. Bluepoint Games treated the source material with respect. They didn't change art styles, break character models, or introduce new bugs. They simply made the games run faster, look cleaner, and play smoother. At 60FPS, the jungle gunfights are actually playable

This is the cheapest and best way to get the entire story before playing Uncharted 4 . The emotional payoff of A Thief’s End relies heavily on you knowing Nate, Elena, and Sully. Skipping the collection would be like starting The Lord of the Rings at Return of the King .
