Season 2 expands the mythology massively. The brothers learn that Azazel visited special children on October 31, 1983, giving them psychic abilities. Sam is one of them. The climax takes place at “The Devil’s Gate” in Wyoming.
Season 7 is often underrated. The Leviathans – God’s first beasts – are cunning, unkillable by normal means, and take over banks, media, and healthcare. Their leader, Dick Roman (James Patrick Stuart), is a terrifyingly corporate villain.
