Is it perfect? No. Emulation is never 100% (looking at you, Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus with your broken shadows). But with Placeholder 103 as your foundation and these "better" modifications as your tools, you can play 90% of the PS2 library at 1080p with smoother performance than a real PS2.

Always check the emulation compatibility list for version 103 before you build your PKG. Some games ( The Thing , Auto Modellista ) still require specific gs_* flags that only the mod PKG format can provide.
