It is also historically notable for being one of the few major animated films to feature a predominantly Hispanic creative team and one of the first to explicitly use Spanglish in its dialogue (the aliens frequently mix English and Spanish words, referring to Chuck as "El Astronauta Loco"). Absolutely. While it isn't a flawless masterpiece, Planet 51 is a clever, visually stunning, and genuinely funny deconstruction of sci-fi tropes. It dares to ask the question that Avatar asked seriously, but with a comedic twist: Are you still a hero if the "barren wasteland" you are exploring is actually someone’s front yard? Planet 51
