While EA Sports has long abandoned the cricket genre (EA Sports Cricket 09 was the last, and it was terrible), the community has kept the 07 version breathing. With Windows 11 compatibility patches and mods that add T20 jerseys from 2026, this software refuses to be caught out.

Released in the winter of 2006 (and early 2007 in some regions), Cricket 07 was supposed to be just another annual update. Instead, it became the Street Fighter II or the Championship Manager 01/02 of cricket gaming.
