Use a #10 AWG copper wire from the internal ground screw to the true earth ground. The DASS280 Top uses a floating ground; failing to do this will cause the internal diagnostics to flag an "Err 17." The DASS280 Top uses a vertical diaphragm. Always mount it with the process connection pointing down for gas service or horizontal for liquid service. Never mount it directly above a steam trap.
