Codesys License Activation ^new^

Open a web browser, log into your MyCODESYS account. Go to "Licenses & Downloads" -> "My Licenses" . Find your purchased product, click "Activate" . You will be prompted to paste the Container ID you copied earlier.

Click the "Read Container ID" button. A string of 20-30 alphanumeric characters will appear. This ID is the digital fingerprint of your target device. Copy it to clipboard or note it down. codesys license activation

Plug the CmStick into a free USB port on the target device (not your development PC, unless the target is the same PC). Open a web browser, log into your MyCODESYS account

A: You likely have a Toolkit license (for development) but not a Runtime license (for execution). The demo timer stops if any feature lacks a valid license. Check the "Provider Info" pane for which component is expiring. You will be prompted to paste the Container
