However, with the arrival of (and its subsequent updates like One UI 4.0, 4.1, and 4.1.1), Google and Samsung introduced significant changes to the font management system. This broke almost every third-party font APK installer on the market. The old "Choco Cooky APK" files that worked seamlessly on Android 10 and 11 now result in “App not installed,” “Font not supported,” or “Overlay package not compatible” errors.
