If you are a fan of arcade racing games from the golden era of the early 2010s, you have probably heard of Blur . Developed by Bizarre Creations (the geniuses behind Project Gotham Racing ) and published by Activision, Blur combined realistic car handling with Mario Kart-style power-ups. It was chaotic, fast, and addictive.
Years later, when pirates and archivists uploaded these versions to torrent sites, they kept the original language locks intact. Consequently, thousands of players today launch the game only to see a Cyrillic menu or German UI. The official patches are no longer hosted by Activision.
