Angel Under Prototype -v1.0.0- -babusgames- ~repack~ -

And remember: in the world of Angel Under, the only thing heavier than your sins is your halo. Have you played the prototype? Share your experience with the Halo Erosion mechanic in the comments below. For more deep dives into weird indie games, subscribe to our newsletter.

Here is what you get in the current build: Most angel games let you fly immediately. This one does not. Your angel, "Azrail-9," moves with a heavy, wet thud. The left trigger toggles between Walk (silent, slow) and Stride (noisy, faster). You cannot fly. However, you have a Short-Glide mechanic. By double-tapping jump, you unfurl one partially healed wing for 1.5 seconds. This allows you to cross gaps or drop silently, but every glide consumes Grace. In v1.0.0, Grace is so scarce that players report gliding only 3-4 times per hour of gameplay. 2. The Corrupted Halo Mechanic Your HUD is your halo, displayed as a fractal ring at the screen's center. In this prototype, the halo does not show health—it shows memory . As you take damage, the halo cracks. As it cracks, your angel begins to forget its purpose. Dialogue options become gibberish. Map markers disappear. This is a terrifying mechanic that BabusGames calls "Erosion," and it works flawlessly even in this early build. 3. Combat: Brutal and Clunky by Design Combat in Angel Under Prototype -v1.0.0- is not fun in a conventional sense. It is desperate. You wield a broken pipe as a primary melee. Enemies—lanky, weeping humanoids—do not telegraph attacks well. You will die. A lot. The genius lies in the Confession system. Before a killing blow, you can press "X" to hear the Weeper’s final prayer. Each prayer restores a sliver of Grace. In v1.0.0, this creates a moral loop: Do you kill quickly to save time, or do you listen to the suffering to fuel your return to heaven? 4. Visual and Audio State Do not expect 4K ray tracing. This prototype leans into a PS1-era aesthetic with modern lighting. Think Giger meets Silent Hill on a low budget. The audio is the star: a constant sound of dripping water, distant radio static, and the protagonist’s own ragged, asthmatic breathing. Who Is BabusGames? The Developer Behind the Despair The handle -BabusGames- appears to be a solo or duo developer from Eastern Europe (based on coding comments found in the game’s debug logs). Historically, BabusGames created mobile puzzle games and a failed farming sim. "Angel Under" represents a complete 180-degree turn in tone. Angel Under Prototype -v1.0.0- -BabusGames-

If you have spent any time on niche game development forums, itch.io, or Twitter indie dev circles, you have likely seen the buzz. The name itself is a mouthful—a blend of celestial irony and raw, unfinished ambition. But what exactly is this prototype? Why is version 1.0.0 generating so much conversation? And why is the developer handle "BabusGames" suddenly on everyone’s watchlist? And remember: in the world of Angel Under,
